Rice in Jacksonville, FL

Disclaimer

Please note that, for us and the purposes of this web page, a Rice Boy need not drive an import; I have seen many 4 cylinder (and even some Geos, ha) domestic cars that are decorated in a similar fashion. The only reason we have not put up pictures of one of those yet is because we haven't had the chance to actually photograph one.

Also, none of us have an inherent bias against foreign cars... it's the moronic kids driving them that piss us off. The ones who add these ridiculous "Welcome to McDonalds" Arch spoilers, and bazooka tip mufflers, and numerous tacky stickers, etc. It's these "Rice Boys" that this site seeks to attack. These idiots take cars that are built for ECONOMY and try to make them look like high-dollar sports cars.

We realize that there are SOME (very few) people around Jacksonville who actually spend their money for racing parts (again, this does not include stupid spoilers, chrome wheels, clear taillight lenses, etc.) and make their cars significantly faster. Most of these guys, though, aren't the hat backward "I own the world" attitude type kids, and my hat goes off to them. It must be noted, however, that it takes a lot more money to get one of these cars to even keep up with a true performance car. Again, if you have the money, and your heart is set on racing your CRX, more power to you, just lay off the stickers.

And for the 17 year olds who keep emailing me, please understand that the only real performance/sports car that Honda makes is the Acura NSX, and you don't own one. (The S2000 is probably another, but we've only read rumors about it, not actual data.) Integras are not sports cars. Civics are not sports cars. Corollas are not sports cars. Saturns are not sports cars. Metros are not sports cars. Until you get these basic principles through your head, you are wasting our time with your emails about your car.

We have received a few threats. Please understand that emails do not frighten any of us.

And a final word - please learn English (syntax and grammar) before emailing us with hate email. At first it was quite amusing to try to decipher incoherent and broken English, but it has since gotten old, and now we just delete them.
